Muzart World Foundation is dedicated to supporting creativity and innovation in school curriculum. We do that by funding music and art programs that balance left-brain technical courses with right-brain creative training and experiences. A balanced education produces well rounder citizens, reduces the drop-out rates, and raises test scores.
Years of emphasis on science, math, and engineering has failed to create the hoped-for results. Drop-out rates (before Covid-19) have risen, and test scores are down. While we need scientists, not every child can or needs to be a one. The U.S. Department of Labor estimates that by 2029 we will need 7 times the number of non-STEM focused jobs as technical ones.
What we need is a better, well-balanced population, by integrating 21st century skills of creativity, leadership, communication, collaboration, and critical thinking. These skills come from proven programs of a balanced approach that includes music and art.
